gstack is not another "prompt word set", but a set of engineering methodologies with process constraints: each role has clear input/output and acceptance criteria, and each line of code written by AI must pass review, QA, and security before it can be released.

The author is Garry Tan, the current president of Y Combinator. This process is the real open source software factory that he uses every day. As evidence, the README has exposed the contribution drawings submitted 1,237 times in 2026.

setup automatically builds binary tools and downloads the browser kernel; it is recommended to use the officially recommended Aside browser on macOS (you can reuse your logged-in session), but it will automatically switch to the built-in browser if it is not installed.
