IT House reported on October 5 that Thibault Sottiaux, head of OpenAI’s core products and platform, posted on X today, revealing that the team will continue to promote improvements related to Codex and ChatGPT Work in the next 28 days. He said that OpenAI will release a feature update each day that is "significantly improved and meaningful for most Codex/Work users" or provide a "reset". Based on the timing of its release, the cycle is expected to last from at least October 5 to November 2. However, Sottiaux did not explain how the reset would be carried out, nor did he confirm which users or quotas its "reset" would cover. IT House will keep paying attention in the future. The day before, Sottiaux also said that the team has "locked in the direction" and that the work currently being carried out is mainly focused on simplifying the product, improving usage efficiency to support more usage, launching breakthrough features, and developing new models. He also mentioned that although technical investment is sometimes required in advance, user feedback has clearly shown that they hope that related products will become simpler, and the team is making adjustments to this.
