Minisforum today confirmed that its first fanless all-flash AI NAS model, the S5, will go on sale in mid-to-late October. S5 is a pure passive heat dissipation design realized by the aluminum alloy fuselage and fin set, with a mass of 1.8kg. It is based on the Intel Core 3 Processor 304 and offers five PCIe Gen4 × 1 M.2 2280 SSD bays. This device takes full advantage of the scalability of "Wildcat Lake" with a range of I/O including Wi-Fi 7, 10GbE RJ-45, 2.5GbE RJ-45, 2 USB-C 40Gbps.
