The ID.ERA 5X is equipped with a 192-wire lidar, a horizon journey 6H chip, a standard 4-nanometer MTK 8676 cockpit chip, an intelligent assisted driving system "Xingyun Zhixing", and a 420TOPS assisted driving hashrate. It has a length, width and height of 4560/1896/1630mm, a wheelbase of 2815mm, a front and rear wheelbase of 1619mm/1630mm, a front suspension of 875mm and a rear suspension of 870mm. The ID.ERA 5X is also Volkswagen's first production model based on the CMP platform and equipped with CEA electronic and electrical architecture. Developed specifically for the Chinese market, the modular design allows for more space and a lighter body.
