The 177 skills fall into a few groups. Databases: 100+ scientific and financial sources (PubChem, ChEMBL, UniProt, COSMIC, ClinicalTrials.gov, FRED, USPTO and more) with endpoint selection, pagination and provenance notes. Python packages: 70+ scientific libraries (RDKit, Scanpy, PyTorch Lightning, scikit-learn, pydicom, Qiskit, OpenMM and more). Platform integrations: nine lab platforms including Benchling, DNAnexus, OMERO, LabArchives and Opentrons.

There are also 30+ analysis and communication tools: literature review, evidence-traceable scientific writing, confidential peer review, document processing, macro-free PPTX posters and slides, and Mermaid diagrams, plus 10+ research and clinical tools covering hypothesis generation, grant writing, PK/PD modelling and ISO standards evidence preparation.

Every skill is a SKILL.md stating its purpose, workflow and version requirements; skills with bundled scripts ship with a matching test suite.

If you use the GitHub CLI, gh skill install (v2.90.0+) supports interactive browsing, installing a single skill or targeting a specific host, and --pin lets you lock to a release or commit for reproducible installs.

Note that since 2.72.0 the four document skills docx / pdf / pptx / xlsx are no longer bundled (install them separately from Anthropic's repository), so the collection is now 177 skills.

The project stresses that these skills are "optimised, pre-documented paths" and do not restrict your agent from using other libraries — the documented paths are simply steadier and safer.
