How to use

FAQ
Is this speech-to-text?
No. It converts existing subtitle files to plain text by removing timecodes and numbering. For transcribing audio, use a dedicated speech-recognition service.
Are speaker labels kept?
Ordinary text is preserved; VTT tags like <v Name> are treated as text or removed as tags — the preview shows exactly what you get.
How are multi-line cues handled?
Lines are output one by one by default; tick "Merge consecutive lines" to join them per cue.
Which languages are supported?
Text is handled as Unicode — Chinese, English, Japanese and more all work.
